G. Grant Dixon III is the founder of the Dixon Law Office located in the Chicago suburb of La Grange. As a trial lawyer, Grant represents plaintiffs in all forms of personal injury, wrongful death and business litigation matters. His cases have included automobile accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, slip-and-fall cases, product liability, chemical exposures, airplane crashes and hundreds of others. Grant has represented victims in many high-profile cases. Before starting Dixon Law Office, Grant was a litigator at Corboy & Demetrio in Chicago for nearly 10 years. He is a former judicial clerk to The Honorable Charles R. Norgle, Sr., of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Grant is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and many Federal courts. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and has been accepted to practice before courts in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, handling cases there and many other states from New York to California. He has argued hundreds of cases in a variety of State and Federal courts. Grant is presently or has been a member of many bar associations including the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association just to name a few. He has served in leadership in nearly every bar association he has ever been a member of. Grant's fellow lawyers have recognized his accomplishments with many awards including the prestigious "40 Under 40" group and Leading Lawyers. Each of these awards is given to less than five percent of all lawyers and it is very rare that one lawyer earns both awards.

Grant is also committed to public service and charitable work. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Western Springs and twice served as President. He has volunteered countless hours on boards and advisory panels at LaGrange Memorial Hospital, a member of the Adventist Health System. He has served as an Elder at Christ Church of Oak Brook (two terms) and chair of two committees at this large church in Oak Brook, Illinois. Grant has volunteered his time as a guest lecturer and speaker more than 140 times to churches, clubs and schools. He has written or co-authored more than 30 articles and chapters for many publications. Grant has been featured in dozens of newspaper and magazine stories in the U.S. and internationally for his legal work. He has appeared on national television and radio shows discussing his practice.

Kevin M. Sheehan

Kevin M. Sheehan joined the Dixon Law Office team as a Trial Attorney in 2016. He focuses his practice on representing injured workers in worker’s compensation cases and also working on the firm’s catastrophic personal injury cases. He attended law school at DePaul College of Law in Chicago. During law school, he worked at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in Chicago in the General Law Division in the Labor, Employment and Torts units. While there, he gained valuable trial experience as a licensed law clerk by representing State workers in court on matters such as wage claims as well as defending state tort actions. In addition, he has clerked at a number of plaintiff and defense personal injury law firms.

Kevin is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Before attending law school, he graduated from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, with a B.A. in political science. Honors and awards he garnered during law school include the Order of the Barrister award and the CALI Award for Excellence in a litigation lab. He also served as president of the Appellate Moot Court Society and was a team champion of DePaul’s Intramural Moot Court Competition. Kevin grew up in Naperville and attended high school at Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois.

Cathy P.

Cathy joined the Dixon Law Office team in November of 2004. She started with basic administrative functions. Over time, Cathy’s responsibilities have grown tremendously. She now supervises the complex document management for the firm as well as internal office administration and coordination. Cathy is a detail-oriented person who has a keen eye for the bottom line. She helps manage the cash-flow in the office and handles assorted accounts payable duties. When a case comes to trial, Cathy plays a critical role. When a case settles, Cathy helps assure the client’s funds are managed properly. She is a very valuable member of the Dixon Law Office team.

Prior to joining Dixon Law Office, Cathy worked at Bell Federal Savings and Loan in Chicago. While there, she held the title of Assistant Treasurer in the financial department where her primary job was managing the accounting for out-of-state purchased and participation loans. Cathy has been married for twenty-five years and has four children. She is active in her church as well as the schools of her children.

Kelly C.

Kelly joined the Dixon Law Office team in 2016 as a Legal Assistant. She brings with her years of experience and training in the legal field.  She previously worked for a litigation coverage defense firm in downtown Chicago from 2010-2015, where she served as a law clerk, docket clerk assistant and billing assistant. At Dixon Law Office, her main responsibilities include: answering phones, managing the attorney calendar, scheduling meetings, client correspondence, and greeting clients. Kelly graduated from Fox College, located in Bedford Park, Illinois, with an Administrative and Computer Software Specialist Diploma in July 2009. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends as well as outdoor activities such as swimming and softball.

Kate B.

Kate joined the Dixon Law Office team as a Legal Assistant in 2015. She brings a wealth of experience from her work as a legal assistant for multiple law offices in Illinois and Arizona. Coincidentally, she started her legal assistant career in this very building almost 18 years ago before moving to Arizona. Kate’s main responsibilities at Dixon Law Office are coordinating the calendar, scheduling depositions, handling client contact and answering phone calls. In her free time, she loves to read and spend time with her husband and son.

Jim P.

Jim is an extraordinary addition to the Dixon Law Office staff. He joined our team in 2011. Jim helps manage the documents in the office. In his spare time, he attends high school as well as his church’s youth group and is a fantastic baseball player, year-round. He is a great addition to our Dixon Law Office family and we are proud to have him.

Molly D.

Molly joined our team in 2013. Molly now manages the complex digital document system at Dixon Law Office. She also organizes and manages nearly every piece of paper in this busy firm. In her spare time, she attends high school and looks at college! She is the most well-traveled office employee. She has traveled abroad to many countries serving in mission trips. We love having Molly around and she is a great addition to our team.
